Travel by coach/tunnel from UK
School History Day Trip to Dunkirk
On your history school day trip to Dunkirk, your students will learn more about the tactics and technology of WW2!
Make sure you don’t miss out on a visit to La Coupole, designed to be the base for the V2 rockets which were to be launched against London. The base was eventually abandoned after D-Day, and now houses one of the best WW2 historical exhibitions in Europe.
Your students will also have the opportunity to learn about what life was like here in northern France during the war, from the Nazi invasion to liberation. Of course, if you decide you'd prefer to stay in Dunkirk a little longer, we do also offer multiday options.
