National Schools Snowsport Week

Get more of your students interested in skiing and snowboarding by taking part in National Schools Snowsport Week. This new initiative by Snowsport England is sponsored by Visit Andorra and has the support of Winter Olympians including Aimee Fuller and Graham Bell.

The initiative is intended to encourage thousands of pupils to take up skiing and snowboarding. 21 slopes across England will be offering free or reasonably priced activities from 22nd to 29th April. Of course, there will be ski and snowboard taster sessions, as well as other activities including tobogganing and tubing.

This is potentially great news for school ski trips, with more uptake as students get excited about snowsports. Keen to give your students a taste for snowsports? These activities are open to all school ages and can be attended by large class groups, or just a handful of interested students.

For further information, please visit the National Schools Snowsport Week website.
