Will Brexit Affect My School Music Tour?

We understand that, following the results of the EU referendum, party leaders will be keen to understand how this affects their school music tours

In short, there should be no impact, at least in the short term. We expect all tours to proceed as normal.

In fact, if you are in the planning stages, now is the ideal time to book your school music tour. That’s because we are honouring all current quotes booked by 31st July 2016*.

If you’re unable to book your tour before the end of July, the validity of that quote will expire at the end of July, as is normally the case. We’ll then reassess your quote in September, when it will be subject to exchange rates at that time. Due to the current climate, this does mean that we cannot guarantee tour prices over the long summer holidays.

So, in short, if you are in a position to book your school music tour before the end of July, we strongly recommend that you do so

If you have any questions at all, please do contact us as we’ll be very pleased to help.

The Prime Minister has stated that there will be no initial change in the way people travel. Travellers are free to move between the UK and the EU as they were yesterday, European Health Insurance Cards remain valid and regulations such as Air Passenger Rights remain in place. People due to travel this summer will see little changes to their holiday. Once the UK formally notifies the EU of its intention to leave, the remaining Member States will have up to two years to offer the UK a deal for a future trading relationship and during this period holidaymakers will not see any immediate changes.

*i.e. tours for which deposits have been received, along with the completed booking form and, if travelling by air, the passenger names list.
