History students studying the Vietnam War will really benefit from the opportunity to visit the country itself and develop a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture and history, thereby allowing them to put into context that which they are studying. Our school history trip will see you based in Ho Chi Minh, the country’s largest city, formally known as Saigon. From here, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, which were built as supply routes for the Viet Cong, as well as the War Remnants Museum, which houses a range of artefacts, including military equipment. You will also have the opportunity to venture out into the beautiful Vietnamese countryside; taking a horse and cart ride, or visiting rice fields. Don’t forget, you can personalise your itinerary to best meet the requirements of your students.
