WW1 School History Trip to London
A WW1 history school trip to London will give your students the opportunity to learn more about life in wartime Britain.
London is home to a great variety of museums and monuments dedicated to the memory of the First World War. Visits to the National Army Museum and the Imperial War Museum will help your students to better understand the experience of soldiers during WW1.
You can also visit the Cenotaph at Westminster and the Flanders Fields Memorial Garden, where you can pay your respects as a group. These visits also offer the perfect opportunity to discuss the idea of remembrance and commemoration and why that continues to be important over 100 years after the war ended.
