Jet-Set Go! easyJet Announces New Flights to Brussels and Strasbourg

It was recently announced that easyJet will be launching two new routes to Brussels and Strasbourg from London Gatwick next year.  Beginning on the 30th March, the two new flights will operate twice daily to and from Brussels and four times a week to and from Strasbourg.

These two cities are great for a number of different tours including art, business studies, food technology and science trips so it’s great they are being made more accessible as destinations. We are particularly pleased because these flights will now make politics tours to Brussels and Strasbourg feasible for some schools. As politics classes tend to be smaller than others, previously it has been difficult for schools to organise politics trips abroad as they do not have enough students to run a coach tour. With the new flights, groups with as few as 10 students will have the chance to visit the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg or role play being an MEP for the day in the Willy Brandt Building in Brussels.

Find out more about our school politics tours to Brussels and Strasbourg which are designed to give students the chance to engage with politics outside of their textbooks.
