School Rugby trip to Cape town, sport

A fantastic opportunity to combine Rugby with travel! Play against local teams and train abroad, while also visiting this amazing country and fabulous city dominated by the impressive and beautiful World Heritage Site of Table Mountain. Glorious beaches, enchanting vineyards, amazing wildlife and rugged landscape are just some of the reasons to take this trip. Cape Town is a place of great cultural and historic heritage, offering something for everyone; there are plenty of museums, art galleries and places of historic interest as well as magnificent restaurants and attractions to visit. Don’t miss Robben Island, just 12 km from Cape Town, where for nearly 400 years rulers sent those they regarded as political troublemakers and social outcasts. It was a place of banishment, isolation and imprisonment and was where Nelson Mandela spent most of his years in prison. The sporting legacy of a Rugby World Cup can be seen in the famous old Newlands stadium, where the 1995 tournament kicked off and the truly modern Green Point Stadium built purposely for the 2010 Football World Cup.
