Chocolate Museum of Barcelona

The Chocolate Museum is the first of its kind in Catalonia. Its creation has been possible thanks to the determination and efforts of the members of the Barcelona Confectionery Guild and their suppliers. This initiative is reflected in the privileged setting of the museum itself between the Parc de la Cuitadella and the Ramblas. Apart from the origin of the cacao, the Catalan traditions involving chocolate and the chocolate figures in the Museum various activities can be experienced (with extra cost): creating a chocolate figure; stamping a t-shirt with chocolate themes or games about the discovery and early uses of chocolate. Guided tours are also available.
