Skiing for all abilities!
Villach is an excellent base for your ski trip with Halsbury groups benefiting from all the amenities and apres ski a large spa town has to offer and with plentiful skiing above 2000m what more could you ask for! The ski area is called Gerlitzen and is just 3km/ten minutes from the hotel.
This will keep beginners and intermediates well served all week with wide ‘motorways’ above the tree line, spectacular views (on a clear day almost the whole of Carinthia can be seen!) and some gentle slopes for perfecting that important technique. Villach ( just 1km from the hotel) is easy to get around on foot.
It is well-known for its carnival which is broadcast on television throughout Austria and has a variety of apres ski to keep your children entertained.
