This authentic Pyrenean village is a great choice for your school trip.
At Saint-Lary village you'll discover the warm, authentic atmosphere of a true Pyrenean village. The resort is situated in the French Pyrenees. It is a large but typical Pyrenean village and is linked by road or cable car to its three altitude stations La Cabane 1600m, Pla d’Adet 1700m and Espiaube1900m.
St Lary's skiing is spread across three sectors totalling 100km of runs with an altitude range of 1700 to 2515m. The Pla d’Adet station is an area dedicated to families; it has a snow garden, toboggan run and a fun snow park area for skiers aged 6-12 years. Whereas the Espiaube site caters for the more experienced skier. It is here at 1900 that you'll find the famous "Mirabelle" At 3.6 km; it's one of the longest runs in the Pyrenees with an elevation gain of 700 metres. Higher up the mountain at 2400m there’s a mogul and slalom stadium and a snow park complete with PA system and a half pipe. With so much variety there’s something for everyone in Saint Lary.
There’s plenty of après ski to keep your entertained off the piste as well with Ice skating, a sports hall, snow shoein, a cinema, thermal baths and a swimming pool complex to name a few. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops to pick up a souvenir or two, or to try out the local cuisine.
