New England Largest Ski Area
Killington is New England’s leading ski resort, with great slopes and après-ski. ''The Beast of the East'' as its commonly know due to its 191 trails that cater for every ability. It also claims to have the longest seasonon the east Coast due to largest snowmaking installation in the world. The mountain is also the biggest in the Eastern US at 4220ft and has America’s longest lift and longest trail of 16km (10 miles).

The area has six peaks which are connected by 32 lifts. Experts have a choice of 40% advanced runs, notably the Killington Peak has a handful of steep slopes. There are 26% green runs and 34% blue runs, so plenty of easy cruising slopes for intermediates. Complete beginners have excellent facilities with the Snowshed home slope really a vast nursery slope. The après-ski in Killington has a well-deserved reputation for a lively atmosphere. The popular Wobbly Barn live music venue claims to be one of the leading après-ski venues in the US.
