Nausicaa
The Nausicaa Sea-world museum seeks to educate children about the marine environment, man's impact upon it and why it is important that marine life should be protected. Tropical lagoons, sea lion enclosures, shark tanks and affectionate stingrays are all very popular with children and school groups.Allow 1.5-2 hours for your visit.
Boulangerie Maillard-Trupin
The centrepiece of this traditional, family owned bakery is an 80-year-old wood-fired oven. Visits conclude, of course, with samples of freshly-baked bread.
Arc International Glass Factories
One of the world’s largest glass factories, Arc International produces 70 pieces of glass tableware per second at this site alone. A visit to the factory includes audio-visual presentations on the history of the company since its inception in 1825 and on the making of glass, and a guided tour of the factory floor. It’s particularly popular for business studies tours.
