What our teachers had to say about this destination
I would highly recommend Halsbury Travel. They were very helpful in every aspect and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have used different coach companies in the past and unfortunately have not had the same level of helpfulness and brilliant service. I will definitely be using them again for future trips.
The trip provides a good opportunity for pupils to experience being in France and practise speaking French. The Pain Show, Bec a Suc and Boulangerie would all be recommended for others.
Boulangerie Le Fournil - absolutely brilliant. Very friendly and really encouraged our children to have a go at speaking French. Children loved making croissants and kneading the dough for bread. Adults were given tea/coffee and considering the children were all given a croissant and pain au chocolat to take away this was truly excellent value.
A fantastic trip! The pupils loved it all. The bakery and sweet factory were excellent and geared totally towards the appropriate age group. Highly recommended. The coach drivers were super, helpful, good humored and very professional. A super day out!
