School German day trip to Aachen

Aachen is within easy reach for a short German Language trip. In winter the highlight is the famous Christmas Markets but in the summer months a huge range of educational and fun activities are also available for all age groups.

The cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage site) and the Gothic town hall form the heart of the old quarter. The modern Carolus thermal baths and Aachen casino are also well worth a visit. Make sure you don't leave Aachen without trying the famous Printen. These delicacies are distributed all over the world by Aachen bakeries; however in Aachen itself they are oven fresh and taste particularly delicious!
