Council of Europe

Struthof Concentration Camp
The site of the former Natzweiler-Struthof camp, a place of history and remembrance, is visited with respect for its victims.
The tour of the site is self-guided. However, it is advisable to start with the European Centre in order to have an overview of the Resistance movements and deportation in Europe before seeing the particular case of the Natzweiler camp.
European Court of Human Rights
Hearings at the European Court of Human Rights are public (private hearings are only held in exceptional cases). Hearings last approximately 90 minutes with English and French interpretation.

CIARUS Centre
Ciarus is well located in Strasbourg and is a popular choice amongst school groups. The centre boasts 295 beds in comfortable and well equipped rooms, all with shower, washbasin and toilet. These are spread over four storeys with living areas that are bright and large.
Evening meals will be taken in the self-service restaurant at Ciarus, which offers delicious and varied food.
