School Performing Arts trip to Nashville to New Orleans

Nashville is probably one of the few American cities that's known the world over, thanks in no small part to music, Jack Daniel's and the Grand Ole Opry. Here you will start your musical journey into the Deep South as you head southwards from Music City to Memphis where the Blues were born and Elvis rocked. The history comes to life as you pass through Mississipi and learn of the gracious lifestyle of the Southern Belles and the hardship of the plantation slaves before arriving in the home of the worlds most famous Mardi Gras, New Orleans. Here you can sample the Creole flavours and people of this amazing city and learn of it’s struggle to rebuild itself following it’s recent devastation by Hurricane Katrina.
