The Black Forest region of Germany, famous for its gateau, borders Switzerland and France. This truly beautiful destination with its rolling hills and stunning lakes look like a scene from the front of a postcard. Your group will have the opportuntiy to perform in some beautiful locations such as an open air concert beside Lake Titisee, the largest natural lake in the Black Forest.

On this tour you will also be able to visit and perform in the beautiful Alsace region of France. You will explore the exciting culture of Strasbourg, wander through the picturesque old town, take a relaxing boat trip and even perform in the prestigious Strasbourg Cathedral.

Rhine Falls

Rhine Falls
The Rhine Falls are the largest waterfalls in Europe and offer a spectacular showpiece to visitors. Located near the town of Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland and close to the German border, the falls are 150m (450ft) wide and 23m (75ft) high, with an average flow of some 700 m³/s of water. Taking a boat trip into the basin below the cataracts you can feel the great power of the rushing water.

Titisee is situated in of the largest natural lake of the Black Forest. The resort attracts many visitors each day. The covered bandstand overlooking the lake is a great location to perform and an appreciative audience is guaranteed.

Day 3 Depart for Freiburg, the sunniest and warmest city in Germany. Afternoon concert at the spa town of Bad Krozingen. Evening meal at the accommodation.
Day 4 Visit the Triberg Waterfalls. Travel to Titisee. Afternoon concert at the bandstand overlooking the lake. Farewell evening meal at the accommodation.
Day 5 Travel to Calais. Ferry/Tunnel crossing. Arrive back at home.

Hotel Bären

Situated close to the Harmersbach River in Oberharmersbach - the heart of the Black Forest - Hotel Bären is a traditional hotel which receives School groups on a regular basis. Students will be accommodated in twins or triples, with adults in twins or singles, all of which are en-suite. The hotel also has a dining area, garden and a terrace.

Hotel Rebstock

Hotel Rebstock is ideally located in the centre of Rust, just 200 metres from Europa Park. Amenities include a bar, a lounge and a games room. Students will be accommodated in multi-bedded rooms with adults in twins. All rooms are en-suite and come with satellite TV, phone, safe, shower/WC, hairdryer and mirror.
Meals will be taken in the hotel restaurant which offers a wide variety of food and drink

Hotel Sonnenmatte

This family-run guest house set in countryside just outside Titisee offers a wide range of amenities, including a games room, a heated swimming pool, garden chess and a large open area for games, sitting and relaxing. Students will be acommodated in 3-5 bedded rooms, with adults in twins. All rooms are en-suite.

Please note that this hotel has typical 'German beds' ie. twin beds pushed together and housed in a wooden frame, there are however two separate mattresses and two separate duvets etc.
