School Music tour to Prague

Your ensemble will have the opportunity to perform at some of Pragues most famous sites such as the castle gardens and the St Nicholas Church.

More informal performances can be held in the spa towns of Podebrady, Karlovy Vary and Marianske Lazne. Your chamber choir may have the honour to accompany the Prague Conservatoire Orchestra and be part of their workshops led by their director of Choral Education. A chance of a life time! Day 1 Depart the UK by coach. Ferry/Euotunnel crossing. overnight travel to Prague.
Day 2 Travel Arrive in Prague. Time to explore the town especially the Old Square and the Astronomical Clock. Time to rehearse after your evening meal.
Day 3 Morning to visit Petrin Park for a wonderful view of the city. Time to visit the Castle and Charles Bridge. Late afternoon depart for Vysehrad. Concert at the amphitheatre. Return to Prague for your evening meal.
Day 4 Depart for Marianske Lazne, spa town. Afternoon concert in Marianske Lazne. Travel back to Prague for your evening meal in a local restaurant.
Day 5 Visit the Jewish Quarter and Communism Museum.  Concert in central Prague followed by a boat cruise. Farewell evening meal in central Prague
Day 6 Last minute shopping.  Afternoon departure for Calais.  Travel overnight.

Top Hotel Praha

Situated within a quiet area in the Prague 4 district, Top Hotel is a favourite hotel amongst our groups, mostly due to the quality of service received during their stay. Students will be accommodated in mainly quadruple rooms and staff in twins or singles (with supplement). All are en-suite and include a colour television. Meals will be taken in one of the hotels restaurants. The hotel offers a wide range of services all under 1 roof. There are 5 restaurants, a wellness centre with swimming pool, tennis courts, a Japanese garden with summer terraces, 2 bowling lanes, a casino and other hotel services and venues.
NB. A Damage Deposit of €30 per pupil has to be paid in cash upon arrival at the hotel. This will be returned in full providing no damages have occurred.

Hotel Fortuna Luna

Hotel Luna is situated in a quiet residential suburb, close to both Prague fair grounds: PVA Letnany and Holešovice Exhibition Ground and easily accessible both by public transport and by coach. Accommodation is over thirteen floors in rooms of up to five beds which are simply but comfortably equipped and clean, bathroom facilities being shared between two rooms. The hotel has a restaurant, internet terminal, souvenir shop and exchange office.

A&O Hostel Prague

This hostel was renovated in 2005 and offers single and double rooms with newly tiled private toilets and showers. All rooms have TV, are non-smoking and are cleaned daily. The hostel operates its own restaurant, offering a variety of fine foods from breakfast through to dinner. They are one of the few places in Prague to offer a true "American breakfast". The downstairs bar, located in an 18th century cellar, features fine Czech beers, along with other drinks.
