Each of these beautiful towns provides unique and memorable concert venues for performing students. You will have the chance to taste some authentic Belgian chocolates, and even visit a factory to learn about how they are made!

In the rest of your free time, you can relax on a reviving canal boat ride, walk along one of the sandy beaches or visit, and even perform in, the fascinating Musical Instrument Museum, which is a must.

Menin Gate

Menin Gate
Situated on the Menin Road where men used to march from Ypres to the front lines, the Menin Gate is a memorial to some 55,000 British soldiers killed in the Ypres salient who have no known grave. The famous Last Post ceremony takes place here at 20.00 each evening.

Visiting Bruges you simply can't miss a boat trip on the canals, you'll come to see why Bruges is called "Little Venice". During a roundtrip on the picturesque city canals you will discover Bruges from – literally - quite a different point of view! Tours are normally run daily, from 10 a.m. through to 6 p.m. Generally no tours are organized during the months of January and February.

Day 1 Early departure from school. Ferry crossing Arrive in Blankenberge.Time to explore the resort. Rehearsal at the accommodation before or after your evening meal. Evening meal.
Day 2  Travel to Brussels and visit the Musical Instrument Museum.

Time to explore the city and perform a concert at Brussels cathedral.

Travel back to accommodation and evening meal.
Day 3 Travel to Bruges, visit the chocolate factory and climb the Belfry tower. Depart for Ghent and late afternoon concert at Gentfest (late July only). Travel back to the accommodation and evening meal.
Day 4

Depart after breakfast for Calais.

Ferry/Eurotunnel crossing.

Arrive back at school.
