Valencia is Spain’s third largest city and definitely a good place to experience and enjoy Spanish language, culture, history and traditions.
Valencia's array of cultural activities is enormous. It's not easy to combine fine sand beaches, rich history, breathtaking landscape and original cuisine but you can find it all at Gandia, in the La Safor district. Take time to explore the city's many shops, historical monuments and cathedral and for a fun and adrenalin filled day excursion enjoy the Terra Mitica theme park, which your students will love.

Valencia Cathedral
This Cathedral is dedicated to Santa Maria, and in fact used to be a Mosque, but when El Cid conquered the city, it became a Roman Catholic Cathedral. It has been the main Cathedral in Valencia to this day and guards a goblet alleged to be the Holy Grail.
The City of Arts & Sciences
The largest urban complex in Europe for cultural, educational and leisure expansion. The Ciudad de las Artes Y las Ciencias, the symbol of 21st Century Valencia, has been designed as a place to learn by having fun.
Central Market Valencia
Take a stroll around the Mercado Central, and you'll find an experience for all the senses; a wonderful fusion of aromas and colours all set in a building known for its exceptional architecture. It has an area of over 8,000m² and is home to almost one thousand stalls selling all kinds of fresh produce.
Valencia FC Stadium Tour
Valencia Football Club - Valencia FC is one of the best teams in Spanish football, winning a League and UEFA Cup double in 2004/05. The home of Valencia FC is in the centre of Valencia at Mestalla Stadium, which has a capacity of 55,000. A tour of the stadium will give you the opportunity to learn about the history of the club and see behind the scenes areas of this magnificient stadium.
Malvarrosa Beach
This is the place to come to enjoy authentic Paella! There are many outdoor terraces for you to enjoy the sun, and many restaurants to choose from. Groups of all ages will enjoy spending time on the beach.
Terra Mítica
Located in nearby Benidorm, an easy excursion from Valencia. With Terra Mítica’s five spectacular zones containing everything from looping Rollercoasters and water rides, to shows, restaurants and shops, there is fun guaranteed for everyone!
Torres de Serranos
The Serranos Towers are thought to be the largest Gothic city gateway in all of Europe, and were built at the end of the 14th century as part of the city’s fortification. You can enter the Towers and climb to the top to experience the fantastic views on offer.
Lonja de los Mercaderes
A beautiful late-Gothic building known as the Silk Exchange, due to the fact that fabrics were traded here in the past. Its famous hall is now used for exhibitions. Of special interest is the ceiling of the Salon del Consulado, taken from the 15th century Casa de la Ciudad (Town Hall).

Expo Hotel
This hotel is located in Nuevo Centro, one of the most popular commercial areas of the city and near to the historical centre. Students will be accommodated in mainly twin or triple rooms, staff in twins unless singles are requested. All rooms are en suite. Evening meal will be taken in the hotel restaurant.
