Pamplona is best known worldwide for its festival climaxing in the famous 'running of the bulls', but there is much more to the city than this one-week fiesta in July. Those in the know will come to Pamplona any time of year to appreciate its history, beauty and stunning setting in Spain's northern province of Navarra. Once a powerful fortress town, it is today the prosperous capital of the region, and an important stop on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. The Spanish language school is located in the centre of the city in a historic building with seven classrooms, a resource centre with a library, a film and multimedia centre, an auditorium, a café and a restaurant.
Spanish lessons are delivered by native speaking university qualified tutors and the content is designed to meet your curriculum. Students comment that they increase their confidence to communciate in Spanish having immersed themselves in the language and culture of this beautiful region.
Visitors can wander through its beautiful Casco Antiguo, or old town, to admire ancient churches and elegant buildings and drink in the relaxed atmosphere of a vibrant small Spanish city. Pamplona is also well known for it’s local cuisine and local host families serve up delicious local specialities and tasty pintxos – at all hours!
