Schloss Nymphenburg

Schloss Nymphenburg
The Baroque castle of Nymphenburg, situated in the west of Munich, was the summer residency of the Bavarian Monarchs. Today, successors of the Royal Wittelsbacher family live in its adjoing buildings. The castle, and many of the park’s pavillions are open to the public, and are popular with both Munich’s residents and visitors.

The Viktualienmarkt, the bustling, colourful food market at the end of the pedestrian zone off the Marienplatz, is one of the city's major attractions and has existed on the site since 1807. At the heart of the market is a traditional maypole surrounded by a beer garden.

Neuschwanstein Castle

Neuschwanstein Castle
This world famous fairytale castle is said to be the inspiration for Disney's Cinderella castle. Built by King Ludwig II, it lies on an imposing rock in the seclusion of the mountains. Close by are the old castle of Hohenschwangau and the crystal clear Alpsee lake.

AO City Hotel München

This welcoming hostel receives many groups each year and is only a few steps away from the main station and Karlsplatz – Stachus with its shopping centres. Students will be accommodated in multi bedded rooms, mainly 4-6 to a room and adults in twins. All rooms are en-suite and have cable TV. Breakfast will be buffet style and evening meals will be served in the restaurant. The hostel also has a cafeteria and beer garden.

Meininger City Hostel München

This three star standard hostel is located close to the major historical, cultural and architectural highlights. Students will be accommodated in multi bedded rooms (maximum of 4 per room) complete with TV and sink, shower/WC and lockers. Buffet breakfast (“All-you-can-eat”) and evening meal will be taken in the restaurant. The centre also has a games room, lounge and seminar room, internet access and a 24 hour reception.
