School German trip to Frankfurt

Frankfurt is not only the economic and financial centre of the Eurozone but also an historic city on the banks of the Main with some of the highest, most avant-garde skyscrapers of Europe next to well maintained old buildings.

The downtown area, especially Römer square and the museums at the River Main, draw millions of tourists every year. There are many museums clustered on the south bank of the Main in a district called Museumsufer including the German Architecture Museum and Museum of Regional Historic Art and Culture.
