Majorelle Garden

Majorelle Garden
Designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle in 1924, during the colonial period when Morocco was occupied by France. The garden also houses the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakesh, whose collection includes North African textiles, as well as ceramics, jewellery, and paintings by Majorelle. The garden is also home to more than 15 bird species, which can be found only in the area of North Africa

Menara Gardens

Menara Gardens
Set slightly out of town, the Menara gardens offers not only a pleasant escape from roaming Marrakesh, it also has one of the most photographed settings of Morocco. It was established in the 12th century as an orchard of palm, olive and fruit trees. It has a formal pool overlooked by a pavilion previously used by the Sultan and his family which dates from the 19th century.

Djemaa el Fna

Djemaa el Fna
Located in the medina, the square is a virtual festival of smells, colours, noise and activity, used by locals and tourists alike. Let yourself get lost in the ambience, for this is the soul of Marrakesh. During the day, At sunset, the square is transformed with dozens of food stalls.
