The Park Savoy Hotel offers an unbeatable combination of comfortable rooms and a magnificent location. Sandwiched between Central Park and the clamour of Midtown, this reasonably priced hotel is a gem. Its location allows visitors to spend the day pounding the Fifth Avenue pavements or viewing art at the nearby Museum of Modern Art without straying too far from their beds. Built in 1942, the building was originally a private apartment complex before becoming a hotel. In fact, some permanent residents still live in the building.
There's nothing extravagant about this place. It offers reliable rooms with sound basic services, which is exactly what its clientele wants. The corners are clean. The beds are comfortable. Every room offers private bathrooms; colour cable TV; air conditioning and a daily maid service. The courteous and professional staff will gladly make dining recommendations for the area's many award winning restaurants such as Jean George, Le Bernardin and Daniel.
