Words cannot adequately describe the enormity or the horror that the Jewish population of Europe experienced at the hands of the Nazi regime. Here we have extensive experience of taking students to the scene of the worst of these atrocities, the infamous Auschwitz- Birkenau extermination camp. In Berlin students have the opportunity to visit Sachsenhausen Concentration camp as well as standing in Babelplatz, the scene of the “Burning of the Books”. Groups can also visit the cities of Munich and Nuremberg, both of which played significant roles in the birth of the Nazi movement, and can also include a visit to Adolf Hitler’s home in the Bavarian Alps near Berchtesgarten.
