School History Trips

Looking for inspiration for your history lessons? Want to bring history to life and take the subjects outside the classroom? Ofsted report that, "The most effective departments in secondary schools used enrichment activities regularly to support students’ learning." Trips to Berlin and to the Battlefields of Belgium were named as "key features".

On a tour to the WW1 Battlefields your group will experience the living conditions in the trenches, the destructive power, waste and futility of war by following the events of the 1916 Battle of the Somme and the Third Battle of Ypres. In Berlin, Munich and Krakow your students will have the chance to reflect on visits to Nazi concentration camps and learn more about the Rise of National Socialism and the Fall of Hitler.
