School Geography trip to Masai Mara

Visit some of the most spectacular scenery in Africa and learn how geolocical processes and human activity have helped shape this fascinating country. Highlights are the Crater Lake, Crescent Island sanctuaries and Hell’s Gate National Park. The Masai Mara not only has excellent game viewing but a visit to a Masai village and a walk guided by Masai Morans will highlight the conflicts between man and wildlife and how conservation measures are not viewed equally in the struggle for survival on the Plains. Nairobi has museums and sites that will show you the fragile balance that exists in the many ecosystems, from Daphne Sheldrake's Elephant Orphanage to the colonial elegance of Karen Blixen's House. Kenya is a country where the balance of life depends on the human inhabitants living in harmony with the animal inhabitants and finding common grounds for survival.
