School Geography trip to Tokyo and tours

Japan’s mountains, volcanoes and lakes attract geography students every year. Visit Mount Fuji; the earthquake museum; Lake Ashi and the Sakurajima Volcano. Located on the Pacific Rim of Fire, so called because of the amount of seismic activity in the region, features resulting from this dominate the country. Earthquakes occur regularly and Tokyo is an excellent place to study the effects and learn the measures in place to prevent serious damage. The human element can be studied through the plans in place to reduce climate changing greenhouse gas emissions through the Kyoto Protocol. Hiroshima has risen from the destruction of the past to be an important city in Japan today.
