Monet's Gardens, Giverny

Home to Claude Monet from 1883 until his death in 1926, Giverny is where Monet produced some of his most celebrated work. It's a half-day excursion from Paris, and a chance, perhaps, to capture something of what inspired him. You can also visit the Marmottan Museum in central Paris.
