School Food Technology Trips

Is Food Technology a popular subject for your students, yet often overlooked in relation to school travel? Would you like to improve your students’ confidence and abilities to fulfil their potential, perhaps in relation to their Food Technology GCSEs?

A trip abroad can cover a wide range of topics from the curriculum such as:

Making skills – This can be covered with a cookery demonstration and tasting with a professional chef in Lille, pancake making in Boulogne or you can travel a bit further afield and have a Spanish cookery class in Barcelona, where your students will learn to cook a traditional three course meal!

Manufacturing/Large Scale Production – Visit a family-run bakery or chocolate factory in France, the Gallo Pastas Factory in Spain, or a Belgian brewery!
