Paris' fashion markets offer brand new and vintage clothing items. Take a trip to the historic Carreau du Temple, which specialises in clothing or visit another unmissable market, the Saint-Pierre Hall Textiles Market, which is a must for fashion groups.
Visit the workshop of Alexia Hollinger; fine leather goods and accessories. Her style has a unique and feminine vintage feel, and many of her hand bags are made using Liberty print cloths or antique scarves found in flea markets. In the workshop, at the back of her boutique, she will explain how she creates her collections, from the initial idea to the making of the pieces. This is a fantastic op...

What our teachers had to say about this destination
Paris is a wonderful city. The metro is cheap and easy to use. Museums are excellent and the people were friendly and helpful.
Hotel is great for the students with a good breakfast included. The area around the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs is great for students, there are lots of cafes and a huge park.
Martha's Café in Paris was excellent and fab location. Pupils loved free time around Place du Tertre in Montmartre and the view of the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero at night. We spent the whole day and evening (until 11pm) in the city, which the pupils loved. We visited Vimy Ridge as a break on the way back, stopping for a picnic lunch. This was the coach driver's idea and we will do this again.
The trip to Paris was very successful. The two fashion visits were excellent, especially the guided tour of the YSL Foundation. The students also enjoyed the Chocolate Museum and the Bakery. Thank you very much!
I would not hesitate to recommend Halsbury and their team for an outstanding itinerary and very well-organised trip.
It is good to go to Paris at this time of the year (early March), as although there are always tourists, the attractions were not over-crowded. We used the Flunch restaurant for a pre-booked meal and this was very good value and also interesting as an experience. The group facilities are good at the Louvre and also at the Pompidou Centre.
The hotel management was very friendly and helpful. Service in the restaurant was quick and efficient. The food was of a good standard with very adequate portions and breakfast was plentiful. All the excursions went according to plan. The driver was excellent. He knew alot about Paris and how to get from A to B quickly. The coach was also very comfortable.
Paris is a great place for an art trip and, if you're going to do it, I would recommend that you do it with Halsbury! We were very impressed by all aspects of the trip; travel was easy with the detailed info we received, accommodation good and all visits to galleries etc. facilitated by Halsbury's pre-booking. Suggestion: just across the bridge (South) from Notre Dame Cathedral there is a maze of little backstreets with lots of restaurants offering cheap but very good food...we came across it by accident, lovely lunch!
Fantastic support from the office and everything was meticulously organised. Having the two-day Paris Visite card was brilliant. Thanks again for helping us organise a great trip!
The trip was excellent and the pick up points enabled us to see Paris's best monuments and areas.
