Hostelling International NY

HI-New York is Manhattan’s premier hostel - located in a landmark building on the Upper West Side built in 1883 to help widows of both the Revolutionary War and the war of 1812 and opened as HI- New York in 1990. It is just one block from Broadway Avenue and a main subway line, and only minutes from Central Park.
They offer clean, modern mixed and separate male/female dormitory style accommodation (four to twelve-bedded rooms) with shared bathrooms in the hallways. Linen, towels and a housekeeping service are provided. Private rooms with and without baths are available for your convenience.

Big Apple Hostel

The Big Apple Hostel offers the best Mid Town location available of any New York hostels. Just half a block to Times Square and everything it has to offer.

Our dormitory rooms are furnished with bunk-beds with only 4 people per room. The bathrooms are shared with bathroons and toilets available on each floor. Linen and blankets are included and all rooms are air conditioned. A small selection of private rooms with 1 queen size bed are also available.

We have a common room, a small back yard, kitchen and laundry room available for use as well as free wi-fi or use of interent kiosks for a small fee.
