Axel Springer Publishing House
Established by the publisher of the same name in 1946, Axel Springer is now Germany’s biggest publishing house, with over 150 newspapers and magazines in 32 countries and is one of Berlin’s largest employers. A visit to this 'state of the art' printing press in Spandau comprises a tour of the plant, followed by a question and answer session.
Schultheiss Brewery
This guided tour offers groups the chance to see beer being produced. The visit focuses on how beer is brewed in the present day, including the canning and barrelling processes, and concludes with a tasting session.
Daimler Chrysler Werk
DaimlerChrysler is one of the world’s leading automotive companies. The Berlin plant, which is located in the south of the capital and has a tradition stretching back over 100 years, is part of the Mercedes Car Group and produces engines and components for the Maybach, Mercedes-Benz and Smart brands.
KPM Welt
A visit to the modernised porcelain manufacturer lets you see how the world renowned table services, gifts and accessories are made, from the initial design idea to the finished work of art.
Kurfürstendamm
Known to the people of Berlin as Ku'damm, this broad alley which cuts a swate through the West Berlin is the city's prmier shopping district: Berlin's answer to Oxford street or the Champs-Elysées. It also plays host to Berlins' annual Christmas Market.

Vattenfall Europe Berlin
With its state-of-the-art heat generation plants and heat distribution network, Vattenfall Europe Berlin is the largest district heating supplier in western Europe. The facility serves 25% of the Berlin heat market. You can tour two of the plants, Reuter West, which is coal fired, and Mitte which is gas fired. Tours last 3 hours and are only available in German.
