Grand Marnier Distillery Lapostolle
The guided tour of the Grand Marnier distillery begins with a film describing the production stages: peeling the fruit, pickling, distillation and ageing, followed by a tour of the production area where the liqueur is distilled in fifteen large copper vats. Bourse de Paris
This is a popular visit to Europe’s second largest stock exchange. The tour starts with an audio visual presentation in the interactive visitor centre. Students are shown a film explaining the trading process and will learn about the role of the stock exchange in today’s economy. An English speaking guide will accompany your group and will answer any questions.
RATP - Paris Metro
The Réseau Autonome du Transports de Paris will show the students how the Paris underground system works. There is an audio-visual presentation about the history of the company and the train's operation. The groups are normally guided by a member of the RATP team.
Le Parisien
An evening guided tour and visit to the printing works of the French national newspaper.This visit is great for a range of subjects from business studies and media studies to language students.
Rungis Market
The largest wholesale market in the world for fresh products! Students will be shown an audio-visual presentation and given a tour of the food halls. The market sells meat, fruit, vegetables, milk products, plants and flowers. English speaking guides accompany the group. Sturdy footwear is a must!
Chocolaterie and Patisserie Gerard Mulot
Gérard Mulot has been running a famous pastry shop in St-Germain-des-Près district for more than 25 years. You can visit his new laboratory in the 13th arrondissement, and meet two pastry chefs, Patrick Leclercq and Benjamin Bassano and a chocolate chef, Antoine Hesloin, who will explain the secrets of their delicious recipes.
