Wawel Royal Castle
Beautifully sited on a hill overlooking the River Vistila, Wawel Castle was the capital, residence and burial place of Poland's medieval kings. A good attraction for history groups.
The Main Square (Rynek Główny)
The Main Square (Rynek Główny) is the natural centre of Krakow. The centrally located Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) has survived to this day. Other buildings in the heart of the Square include the diminutive Church of St Adalbert, a site of important archaeological discoveries and the solitary tower - a remnant of the Town Hall demolished in the 19th century. Flight out from the UK to Krakow
Coach transfer from the airport to your chosen accommodation centre.
Relax and unpack. Evening meal.
Evening free for a walk around Krakow
Day 2:
Full day spent exploring this beautiful city.
Morning to be spent at the Market Square where several of the city's architectural landmarks can be found. Ideal opportunity for sketching and photography.
Visit to the Cloth Hall to view the Polish paintings, visit to the St Mary's Church and admire the altar which has been carved by Wit Stwosz.
Lunch
Afternoon to visit Wawel Castle - an interesting example of Renaissance architecture which houses some of the largest collections of tapestry in Europe.
Return to the hotel for evening meal.
Relax
Day 3:
Morning to travel out to Wiieliczka to the amazing UNESCO Salt Mines. The guided tour commences 65m undergroiund and leads through rooms, passages and great chambers to a depth of 135m.
After the visit, return to Krakow.
Afternoon to visit the remaining must see monuments of the Barbican, Florianska Gate and numerous churches.
Day 4:
Coach transfer from the hotel.
Return flight back to the UK.
(Depending upon the time of the flight, it may be possible to include an additional visit on this morning)

Olimpia Hotel
The Olimpia is a modern hotel near Wolski Forest Krakow which boasts its own fully-equipped sports centre which can be used for football matches and training sessions, there are also 2 sports halls for table tennis, basketball, volleyball and indoor football. Other facilities include a swimming pool, sauna and solarium.
The hotel offers 96 beds spread between 32 rooms. Students will generally be accommodated in twin or triple rooms and staff in twins, all of which are en-suite and have TV and internet access.

The Batory Guest rooms are situated in the centre of Krakow, just a short walk from the city’s historical Old Town.
