School Art trip to Beijing and Tours

Start your tour in Shanghai the new business centre for China. Shanghai has taken on major cultural changes and has evolved into a fast moving cosmopolitan city. Following Shanghai step back in time as you enter Xi''an and the time of China''s first emperor 221-210 BC as you visit the world famous Terracotta Army, in itself a wonderous piece of art.

Beijing has been the home of three major Chinese dynasties in the past 1000 years and therefore has a rich tradition of art. This runs from the exhibitions at Beijing Art Museum, the contemporary art at Artscenebeijing, to the plentiful Embroidery, Ceramics, Fans, New Year Pictures, Silk Painting, Brush Writing and Calligraphy through to the more esoteric interior painting of Snuff Bottles and ‘Potted Landscapes’. This is a trip that will leave lasting memories.
