Another successful ski trip!

This Easter we were successful in arranging a trip to Interlaken for a group of 49 snowboarders (44 students and 5 teachers) from St Helena’s school. After being let down by another tour operator, shortly before they were due to travel, the school was still determined for their trip to go ahead.

We worked with the group leader, Steve Haycock, to get all the preparations and bookings in place arranging transport, equipment hire, accommodation, lift passes and instructors for the week. Despite the short time scale, we managed to get everything in place and the group were delighted to have their trip back on track.

After they returned from a week of fun and adventure on the slopes; here’s what they had to say about their trip:

Steve Haycock, group leader:
“We are back and had a great trip thanks for making this happen. The instructors were great and Dave in particular was amazing!”

David Garcia-Mendia, head snowboard instructor:
“You did an amazing job considering the short amount of time you had to arrange everything.
Information was timely and abundant before the trip, something the instructors appreciated very much. In addition, we also liked that you were available all the time to help in case we needed to make any changes or had any issues. Everything went perfectly.”

“The Artos hotel is probably the best quality I’ve stayed in with a school trip. Facilities are brand new and rooms have been refurbished. It also has a nice large TV and projector room as well as a presentation/theatre room.”

“The city of Interlaken has plenty of entertainment options for the kids in the evening like bowling, pool, karaoke etc.”
