£50 group leader allowance

We give you £50 allowance to cover the costs of your phone calls, time, photocopies, etc...
The cheque can be made payable to you or to your school department.
(Please note not applicable on exchange tours or guaranteed price offers; please check your quotation)


Price

We expect to be the best and the most competitive in our industry. We therefore endeavour to beat any quotation from any ABTA / ATOL bonded travel company. Please feel free to fax a copy to our office.


Assistance with inspection visits for teachers

We understand that you may wish to visit your accommodation and resort prior to your School Tour, to better plan and prepare for the trip. We will be pleased to organise:

  • 2 nights bed and breakfast for 2 people sharing a twin room at your chosen accommodation free of charge upon receipt of your first deposits (subject to availability).

Free place ratio

Recognising that groups of young people need to be supervised, our standard trips include the following free place ratios:


  • 1:8 for coach tours
  • 1:10 for any 1 or 2 day trips
  • 1:10 for air tours

Please note that we can customise the free ratio to your needs. Let us know at time of quotation/enquiry.

Halsbury Travel is available, able and willing to assist at any time of day and night with all the necessary resources:


  • We have contacts to arrange replacement coaches in Europe 24 hours a day. We will not leave our coach operators or breakdown services to deal with a mechanical problem on their own. We will liaise with your driver and the operator to monitor progress and we will be making contingency arrangements to send you a new coach in case they cannot fix your vehicle in a sensible time scale!


  • We can re-arrange channel crossings at a moment's notice if one network is closed, on strike or blockaded because we have accounts with all major ferry operators.


  • We can find accommodation at short notice for staff and pupils delayed because of illness, accident or getting lost and we can usually arrange for them to return to the UK at no extra charge on one of the many coaches we have in the resort.


  • We have multi-lingual staff who can help 24 hours a day in the event of emergency Hospital admissions or situations where passports have been left in the hotel safes or lost / stolen.
